Early Learning Resources

June 30, 2010 in Resources in the classroom

It’s not often that I receive an email from a company asking for promotion on my blog. When I do the sites in question are not entirely suitable or have little or no use for a primary teaching background. However, I sometimes find a gem and earlylearinghq is one such gem.

Early Learning HQ has hundreds of learning resources which include displays, flash cards, number lines, themes, book/dvd suggestions and royalty free photos and illustrations and all are geared towards the Foundation stage or KS1.

Resources are high quality and come in PDF format

Early Learning HQ will be a welcome addition to my bookmarks for use in the new school year as I’m sure you will find it too.

Minibeasts – Ants at the watering hole

May 17, 2010 in film making, learning, lesson ideas, Resources in the classroom

Here’s a video I put together showing ants working together. I think it would be a good resource for the KS1 topic of Minibeasts. Let me know what you think and if you need the photos you can find them on my flickr page.
