Collaborative bookmarking is delicious

April 29, 2010 in learning, Resources in the classroom, thoughts, tools

I was supposed to hold the second ‘Are you up to IcT?’ session in my school today but unfortunately other matters arose. However, I am presenting the video I was going to show. It’s more of a ‘look what you can do with delicious’ rather than a ‘how to’ guide. I hope it’s useful to you.

Why delicious is so attractive

  • one account that everyone can have access to
  • sharing of bookmarks without emailing and written notes
  • access to bookmarks from any computer
  • easy to search and find forgotten bookmarks
  • connections with other users is easy and opens up so many more bookmarks and uses

Are you up to IcT? Sqworl

April 26, 2010 in learning, Resources in the classroom, tools

As part of my ‘Are you up to IcT?‘ CPD material for teachers in my school I will be creating short video demonstrations of tech tools for classroom use; here’s a demo of Sqworl and how you could use it as part of your ICT toolkit.

Here’s a sqworl site I made earlier using bookmarks from delicious. Delicious will be my next video demo.
