A year of reflective blogging

Last year on roughly the same date, I was beginning the final term of what would be my last couple of months teaching abroad. I had been reflecting on my time as a teacher in Gran Canaria and wanted to encapsulate that final term as best as I could. I restarted blogging.

I have been blogging on and off for over 4 years but none of the previous blogs I had amounted to much. I never had the inclination to really get into it and never had a clear vision of my audience. But with each blog I started and deleted they brought me closer to realising how very useful and reflective a blog can become. I look back over this blog now and I am so grateful for having continued it as it contains a wealth of material, links and comments that will continue to help me and others. I am looking forward to finding out how my blog will develop as it is now part of my learning discovery and I hope you too will find it useful.

Here’s to my final term and the inspiration that it holds.
